The Global Education and Skills Forum brings together the insights from global education researchers. In the Learning Sciences @GESF track (with lead partner Jacobs Foundation) break-through researchers will outline findings on the science of teaching and learning.
The immensely powerful idea behind personalised learning is to provide the learner with meaningful learning environments and instruction, as an alternative to a “one-size-fits-all” approach in which everyone in a class sees the same material at the same time. However, the term personalised encompasses a wide range of methods and strategies, with different meanings to different communities. As we seek to find out what (and who) is really making the difference to the study of learning, the Global Education and Skills Forum will aim to increase the understanding of precisely how such an approach can be implemented.
